East Brown Cow and Old Port Square have welcomed Hank & Artie’s to the Old Port Square district. Now open, the Maine-based food truck will be serving its signature lineup of smash burgers, fries, and rotating chef-created specials at 427 Fore St., directly adjacent to the Old Port Square Garage.
Founded and operated by resident and chef Sean Telo, Hank & Artie’s began as a pop-up at North Deering’s G&E Fest – where Telo and fellow chef and friend Colin Minte were grilling their burgers under a tent for neighbors.
It grew into one of Portland’s most popular local food trucks, with multiple trucks serving customers. With a commitment to sourcing high-quality, local ingredients from Maine farms, Hank & Artie’s serves a core menu of signature burgers, alongside monthly burger and fry specials.
“Old Port Square has been focused on elevating and supporting our local food scene, and Hank & Artie’s is a fantastic new addition to this district,” said Jacob Soley, director of development at East Brown Cow. “We look for partners and tenants who are as dedicated to their community as they are about their craft, and Hank & Artie’s embodies that. We’re thrilled to welcome them.”
